Sadly we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel Apple Day this year.
Although we were expecting poor weather this Saturday, unfortunately the weather has turned for the worse, with winds of up to 36 mph, which is unsafe for us to erect gazebos, and we are very reluctant to host the event indoors due to Covid.
We are sorry to disappoint everyone. Apple Day is an important fundraiser for the charity, as well as a much-loved community event. We will aim for an apple extravaganza next year!
We will keep you all posted about future events and activities at Ford Park for Autumn and Winter.
In the meantime, we hope everyone has a lovely weekend, despite the weather.
Stay safe and dry everyone!
The Ford Park Team.

Our annual Apple Day returns on Saturday 2 October. Running from 11am-4pm, it’s a celebration of all things apple!

There will be family activities, crafts, children’s games, stalls, food and drink, a car boot and not forgetting, apple pressing.

If you wish to bring apples to press, please do not bring more than a single batch size of 20kg.
Admission is free, although donations to Ford Park Community Group can be made at the entrance.

To have a stall at the car boot, please arrive at the park before 8.15am or after 10am on the morning of Apple Day and you will be allocated a space for your vehicle. The car boot cost is £5 per vehicle, payable on the day.

We hope many of you can join us to celebrate this popular day in Ford Park’s fundraising calendar!
