Family Activities
Simply turn up at the Garden room in the walled garden 10 minutes before advertised start time to ensure your place at the session.
All activities are FREE, but donations always much appreciated!

1st April 2-4pm - Wild Flower Activities with Cumbria Wildlife Trust

27th May 2-4pm - Food Growing Fun with Peas & Beans

Easter Fun
6th April, 11am - 5pm
Activities will take place in the Garden Room in the walled garden and at the Coach House Cafe & Bistro. 
Check blackboards on arrival for details. 
Egg decorating, Easter bonnet competition, Easter trail, Children’s activities. 

Gardening and cookery second hand book sale. 
Plus, stock up for the growing season ahead at our plant sale and seed swap.

Slide and Supper Evenings
A chance to enjoy interesting speakers, good food and great company. The cost of £10 includes a hot supper after the talk + tea and coffee. The bar will be open and booking is essential (01229 581666).

The Spring Programme has now finished and an Autumn 2015 Programme is being planned

Ford Park Community Group host numerous events on their fields, these mostly take place in the summer months.

Ford Park Closure Threat

Members of the SLDC planning committee will meet on the 26th March to determine the planning application which is critical to saving Ford Park . While the planning officer has gone to some length to say they applaud the planning application on all matters-other than the 'loss of open space' they will be recommending the application is refused.Read More
