Not long to go until half-term fun at the park
With the start of February half-term only a matter of days away, it’s time to start thinking of activities to keep the little ones entertained – and we can help!
On Wednesday 14 February, grab your wellingtons and join Amy Stretch-Parker, author of children’s book Peter Digs A Den, for a den-building adventure, before gathering in the den for a reading of ‘Peter Digs A Den’, complete with yummy hot chocolate and biscuits. This fun event starts at 2pm, costs £5 per accompanied child and is suitable for children up to age 7. Booking essential as spaces limited – call 01229 581666. **Will be held indoors if bad weather**
Throughout the half-term break, children can also take part in our Veggie Soup Trail – simply pick up an activity booklet from the cafe (£2), head to the Kitchen Garden and follow the interactive trail to learn more about growing your own vegetables and discover how to make your own veggie soup (with help from Hop the Rabbit!)
There’s also our natural play area, nature trails and the park to explore (and help burn off some energy), before enjoying a tasty meal in our Coach House Cafe, which has a super children’s menu.
So, with plenty going on at Ford Park, we hope to see you and your families this half-term. Have fun!
