About the event
The Big Butterfly Count 2026 is underway, a nationwide survey that helps to track butterfly populations across the UK.
The count is easy to take part in; simply visit our community orchard to pick up an identification chart, then either find a quiet spot for 15 minutes or have a wander around the park, making a note each butterfly species you see and uploading the result to the Big Butterfly Count website. By taking part you'll be completing vital work for the conservation of British wildlife, whilst also enjoying a lovely family activity.
