If you’ve visited the park over the last couple of weeks, you’ll have seen the outdoor gym!
On Sunday 10th July the community came together for the official opening of the Community Gym, and the Mayor, Cllr Michelle Scrogham, did the honors and cut the ribbon before testing out the gym equipment for herself.
The new community gym has been funded by Ulverston Town Council, following several requests from members of the community and is suitable for people of all levels of fitness and all ages from 10+
It also includes an accessible piece of equipment with two different exercises for wheelchair users.
On each piece of equipment, has a QR code to show you how to use it and also provides various workouts based on ability, and you can monitor your progress via the free Caloo app.
