A Huge Thank You for Our 25th Birthday Bash!

Ford Parr Birthday Bash colour ecplosion

Park's 25th Birthday Bash brought our community together to celebrate a quarter of a century of this charity-run park, and it was every bit as special as we hoped it would be.

We wanted to take a moment to say a proper thank you to everyone who came along, to the businesses who supported us, and to the incredible team and volunteers who made it all happen.

Events like this take months of planning and hundreds of paid and unpaid volunteer hours to bring together, plus so much hard work on the day itself. So, thank you to everyone who turned up, joined in the celebrations, and shared such brilliant feedback with us since. It really does make it all worth it.

Bringing the community together to celebrate 25 years as a charity-run park mattered enormously to our trustees and team. This park is run by the community, for the community, and we wanted to give something back, to say thank you for your support over the years, and for the support still to come.

We hope Saturday showed just how much this park means to us, and to you. It certainly proved how well we can all come together to celebrate. And we're sure this won't be the last Birthday Bash!

Of course, no Ford Park event would be complete without fabulous food and drink stalls, brilliant local trade stalls, and live music to bring it all to life; and Saturday didn't disappoint, with 7 amazing bands keeping the whole day entertained from start to finish.

A Huge Thank You to Our Sponsors

Saturday's celebration wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors and local businesses.

A massive thank you to our headline sponsor, Fibrus Broadband, for your fantastic support of this milestone celebration.

And thank you to all these wonderful local businesses who supported us along the way:

  • MUDfest

  • Bethany Church

  • Ulverston News (thank you for the lovely coverage too!)

  • Muddy Toes

  • Poole Townsend

  • Little Blue Pig

  • 2x2 Ulverston

  • RF Miller & Co Accountants

  • Stollers

  • South Lakes Lettings

And a special shout out to LLA Signature Events in Barrow for the stage, help with the sound, and for donating the spectacular explosion of colour that closed our event!

It means the world to have such brilliant support from businesses who care about this community as much as we do. Please do show them some love back, check out their socials, or pay them a visit when you can.

Thank You to Our Team and Volunteers

Saturday's Birthday Bash didn't just happen, it was made possible by an army of brilliant people who gave up their time, energy, a very long but wonderful Saturday (and months of planning before that!) to make it all come together.

To our team and every single volunteer who set up, ran stalls, marshalled, cleared away, and kept the whole day running smoothly - thank you. Whether you were with us on the day itself or behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to it, this event simply would not have happened without you.

A few of our wonderful volunteers were much too camera shy to be caught on film, so to those of you hiding just out of shot: we see you, we appreciate you, and this thank you is just as much for you.

Twenty-Five Years and Counting

Twenty-five years of Ford Park being run by this community, for this community, and Saturday was proof of just how much heart goes into making that happen. Thank you for giving your time so generously, for supporting our sponsors, and for being part of what makes this park so special.

We couldn't do any of this without you. Here's to the next 25 years!
