Help Ford Park Receive £1,000 in Benefact Group’s 12 Days of Giving

Can you spare just a couple of minutes to support Ford Park?

This December, the Benefact Group is giving away £1,000 to 120 charities as part of their 12 Days of Giving campaign – and we’d love Ford Park to be one of them. To be in with a chance, we need nominations from our supporters… that’s you!

Why your nomination matters...

Ford Park is a much‑loved community green space at the heart of Ulverston. It’s where children play, families picnic, dog walkers wander, runners run and friends meet for a chat in the fresh air. It’s free to access, open all year round, and run by a small charity with the help of fantastic volunteers.

Keeping the park safe, welcoming and well cared for takes a lot of work – from maintaining paths, play areas and open spaces, to looking after the walled garden, orchard and woodland, and providing a peaceful place for everyone to reconnect with nature.

An award of £1,000 would help us continue to:

• Look after the park, paths, trees and gardens

• Provide a clean and beautiful space with the support of our volunteers

• Keep Ford Park open and accessible as a green haven for everyone in Ulverston
