Due to unforseen circumstances, this event is cancelled.
Ford Park is looking forward to welcoming Sir Edward Montague's Regiment of Foote, as we step back in time for a spectacular re-enactment of life in the English Civil War period.
The 2-day event will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th May where you can enjoy a whole weekend of living history and battle re-enactments on the Ford Park.
There will be a living history encampment on the fields where you can witness demonstrations of what everyday life was like for civilians during the English Civil Wars.
Each day there will be military drills in the arena where soldiers will be taken through their paces by the drill officers.
There will also be a children’s drill after the main drill displays on both days, so come along and find out what life was like, try on the soldier’s armour and see the 17th century artefacts, tents, shelters and military arms such as the pikes, muskets and cannons.
Historical re-enactments have been very popular at Ford Park in the past and we’re looking to rekindling the excitement for families and enthusiasts. We’d love to see you at Ford Park over the Bank Holiday weekend and as we feel it’s so important to experience history and not just read about it each ticket is valid for both days – so double the enjoyment.
Tickets are available via the button below, and if you’re a Ford Park Member, don’t forget to enter your exclusive discount code to receive 10% off your tickets!
