STIHL donate new equipment to Ford Park

It can be difficult accessing funding for the things we need as a small charity.  Our team always need equipment to assist them with their work in the garden and around the park, and when Sam was looking online for equipment, he came across STIHL

STIHL is a family run business with a firm commitment to the environment, designing tools and equipment that are not just lightweight, ergonomic and easy to use but designed to minimise the impact on the environment - a perfect fit for the park’s ethos.

So, Sam contacted STIHL, told them about the park, the charity, our volunteers and community.

As with most large companies, they have a corporate social responsibility programme, and they loved what we do and were keen to support us.

A few emails later and the Ford Park team took deliver of  

-       1 x AL 301 high speed charger (this will charge AK and AP batteries)

-       1 x PB 10 pruning shears

-       3 x Secateurs

-       Gloves (1 x M, 2 x L, 1 x XL)

-       4 x safety glasses

-       10 x Baseball caps

-       1 x AP 300 S

-       RMA 443 C Lawn mower

-       BGA 86 Handheld blower

A huge thank you to STIHL for their amazing generosity. Toby, Moray, Hazel and the volunteers will be putting everything to good use to ensure our community park is a safe and beautiful place for you all to enjoy!
