We’re seeing lots of beautiful butterflies around Ford Park at the moment, and one of our eagle-eyed volunteers, Simon, spotted this cluster of cabbage white eggs. Such a lovely sign that our park and garden is thriving!
The Big Butterfly Count, runs until Sunday 10th August and we’d love for you to join in. Whether you’re a seasoned spotter or just enjoying a stroll, you can help by counting butterflies in the park or your own garden.
Download a spotting sheet from the Big Butterfly Count website or pick one up from us next time you visit the park. We have some butterfly sheets in the garden for you!
Let’s see how many different species we can spot together. Every count helps butterfly conservation and supports our local wildlife.
Happy butterfly hunting!
