Our Volunteer Team Leader, Cath (left), and our Gardener, Val (right), were delighted to join the High Sheriff of Cumbria, Marcia Reid Fotheringham (centre), at a Summer Garden Party this month (July), held at Tullie House Museum, in Carlisle.
Cath said: “The occasion was an opportunity for the High Sheriff to say thank you to those who volunteer and work within the hundreds of charities in Cumbria – we were encouraged to highlight our volunteers and staff efforts, to raise the awareness of Cumbrian charities.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with similar individuals and organisations, share knowledge and good practice.”
