It's Easter at Ford Park and the scarecrows have arrived in the Walled Garden for this year’s Wizard of Oz-themed Scarecrow Festival - and the fun doesn’t stop there.
Lotss of fabulous local charities and community groups have been really creative with their scarecrows for the garden, and this year we’re also delighted to be displaying scarecrows made by members of the public in the Community Orchard.
The festival is a brilliant free activity for all the family. And if you’re able, we’d love you to support the charities involved by dropping a little change into their donation buckets.
What’s on for children (and big kids too)
There’s plenty to keep everyone busy over the Easter holidays:
· Go on a scarecrow hunt around the garden
· Visit the Emerald City
· Help us create a wonderfully colourful Yellow Brick Road
· Join our Easter Egg Hunt - pick up a trail sheet and draw the eggs you find. Spot all 12 and you’ll win a prize
· Have a go at our Easter themed 3-in-a-row game using freshly painted Easter stones
There’s lots to see and do at Ford Park this Easter, so pop in for a wander, bring the family, and enjoy a little bit of springtime magic in the park and garden.
