Shirley-Anne Wilson Steps Down As Chair

This week we said a fond farewell to Shirley-Anne Wilson who after 8 years, has stepped down as Head of Trustees.

She isn’t leaving us completely just yet, she will be staying on the board as a trustee for a while and we’re sure to see her at an event or two in the park.

Sam Ronson, Park Director said;

“Shirley- Anne has dedicated a great deal of her time and effort over the years to the service of Ford Park, she has been an ardent supporter and advocate of the work we do and the importance of the park to the Ulverston community. Her contribution to the park has been greatly appreciated by all the staff, trustees and volunteers at the charity and we’re certain that her stewardship has been a very positive one for the charity. We would like to thank her for her years of dedicated service to Ford Park.”

We are sure you will join us in wishing Shirley-Anne well and in thanking her for continued dedication to Ford Park.
