Thank You for Making Ulverston Open Gardens a Wonderful Weekend!

Despite the classic British weather, we had a fabulous time welcoming so many of you to Ford Park for this year’s Ulverston Open Gardens weekend! A huge thank you to everyone who braved the showers, explored the gardens, and brought such a fantastic community spirit to the event.

Throughout the weekend, it was wonderful to see visitors strolling the Walled Garden, enjoying the bursts of colour and scent, and exploring the woodland trail and community orchard too. A little rain can’t dampen the enthusiasm of Ulverston’s garden lovers!

A special highlight for us was the wonderful performance by the Ulverston Town Band in the garden on Sunday. Their music brought extra cheer and atmosphere, making the day even more memorable for everyone who joined us.

We love being part Ulverston Open Gardens and the ticket sales from the event go on to support Ulverston in Bloom, the wonderful group responsible for the beautiful flowers and displays that brighten up our town all year round. By coming along, you’ve also supported your local community park. The garden buzzing with activity and we sold plenty of tea, coffee, ice creams, and plants, with all proceeds supporting the ongoing care of Ford Park.

Every penny you spend and donate helps us keep the park thriving for everyone to enjoy.

So, a huge thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, donated, or simply spread the word. These community events are what make Ford Park and Ulverston, so special.
